kingsmead
my personal favourite water, which i believe holds tench, bream and perch record holders.best spots for tench.long range worm in the evening and morning catches the perch but they can be hard to locate, look for fry jumping.and remeber to
reel in slowly in case one is following in,and to strike gentle for the sake of there delicate mouths
swims around the kennels{1-4}and the point{5-6}are where i would start off first ,the point being especially good for bream and tench
my advice would be to try in the bream swim{5} groundbait in the evening quite close two rods lengths because in the night and in the morning they seem to come in really close
and during the day try 8 rod lengths inline with the end of the bridge for the tench during the day but be warned they do bite very quick indeed
strawberry sweetcorn during the night and maggots during the day another tip is to try flavoured worm with strawberry juices from the tin from the time during the night so u dont get eel trouble
swimfeedered maggot should get u bites during the day,not sure how the carpers like groundbaiting but well ive always done it
swims 8 are a good place too view the big side from nice on a sunny morning are im too romantic too be fishing caught my first bream here,,very good place too start unfortunatly miles away from the car park so choose carefully, have a recky first
